So I was watching videos this morning {#dontjudgeme}, i saw an old school video that got me thinking, it was Loso's "Can't Let You Go", I know.I know a lot of yall ladies can't stand that song but its honestly and truly an honest song, so I figured I'd chime in on the idea as well as far as why men cheat. Want the real answer?

I KNOW I just pissed some of yall off with that but hear me out. Of course I could say that "most guys do it because of insecurity....blah blah blah" or "he did it just cuz he's an asshole....yea yea yea", honestly that would be entirely too easy so I decided to look at it from a different vantage point. & don't worry I'll give you the real secret to keeping your man from cheating on you at the end too lol.

But I'ma just jump right into this too just so you know. Just like women, its extremely hard FOR GUYS to find someone who has everything you want so until we find that, we date pieces of women so that they equal up to a "whole" in our mind. Men have this crazy idea that we need to have everything we want, and if I can't get it in one person, then ill look for as many as I can until I'm fulfilled. Case in point, sometimes you have a chick who you can talk to, but who sexually doesn't do it for you, but then theres that one where the sex is great but there's nothing else to it then you have ya chick who just looks GOOD, period she's just pretty as all hell, she's the arm candy, but thats where it stops. but between those 3 women right there you have someone who looks good, who you can talk to and whos a freak........#FTW. Now you might have another who's just a rider, or another who's rich and well connected or another who can cook her ass off or another who's just a sweetheart. Everybody serves their purpose honestly, lots of times with guys, the girl who they cheat with, gives them something that their main couldn't, in some way, shape or form. BUT for the record I am NOT saying that EVERY guy cheats, but I am trying to tell you why those that do, do. Hopefully that was beneficial to you but now for the good part for my ladies.

How to keep your man from cheating.

1. Choose the RIGHT person for YOU.ok. I'm guilty of this my damn self but we know that everyone wants the model looks with all the trimmings but that's not gonna be the case for everyone. You know what you want and NEED. So if you're not getting that from jump. Why move forward? YOU'RE SETTLING!! Like if I know we have great conversation but sexually, there's no spark, and I know that, why try and play yourself? Lots of people get in these "realtionships with these epople who they know arent right for them because theyre afraid of being by themselves so they settle and end up pissed in the end. Be honest, don't settle and be patient.

2. Don't expect big things from little people.Kind of goes with no. 1 but whatever, if you're dating someone who you have bad feelings about, if you know their past and its shady, why you think it would be anything less with you?

3. Be DIFFERENT, Keep Him Intrigued.Ladies I can't stress this enough and the same for fellas too but BE.DIFFERENT. Stand.Out.put whoever you're interested in onto different things. Don't be like everyone else. Instead of going to the movies, go see a movie on the lawn Tnot right now in December, but you know what I mean), go on a date to the zoo, take him to a concert/show {yea, he'll bitch and moan about it, but he'll go and slightly enjoy it, maybe a little more} but know that he will alllwwwwaaaayyysss remember that he did that with you. I can tell you about all the "different" dates that I've been on, I remember I went to a ballroom dancing class, ice skating, bikram yoga, and I remember all those dates and people because they were DIFFERENT. Oh, and ladies the different thing doesn't stop on dates, you have to intrigue a dude in a lot of different ways, and sexually is very important too.. Get inside your dudes head mentally ladies! If yall are chillin at his apt or yours. He's chillin on the couch watching a game or something and you're doing what you do and you wanna spice things up tell him you wanna cook for him. do it in some boy shorts, a sexy bra and heels lol, yall might not eat the food immediately, but you'll most certainly work up an appetite lol. AND he'll REMEMBER that.

That's just a small one thing but I can't give yall everything lol. Now also let me be the first to say these things will not completely prevent your guy from cheating Ladies, SORRY. But what they will do is minimize the risk.

.......so to say that I've been asked a few times why I spell l-ve like I do would definitely be the understatement of the year. 9 times outta 10 I usually don't even like saying it out loud lol but I will write it, like this....so I guess you want me to explain why now huh?

I actually got it from one of the most intriguing people that you never thought that would be intriguing on Twitter, a stripper from Magic City stripclub in Atl @brookandthecity. For one, don't.judge.me (or her for that matter) and for two, if you have these preconceived notions that all strippers are stupid, ghetto shake dancers whose mommas probably weren't there or whatever and she might be the same in some ways but the wit and intellect of her tweets and the fact that she is completely ok with being completely unapologetically herself is dope to me. I recommend that everyone follow her, it will completely change your opinion on strippers lol. And she's a true to life HOV fan too...enough said. But one thing that stood out about her was the way that she never EVER wrote out the word l-ve. Never. When I heard the explanation, it made perfect sense to ME. So I do admit, I bit off it. But now that you have the background behind it, let me explain.

.....i truly and honestly feel like its a really offensive word that a lot of people throw around not really knowing its power or the weight that it really holds. Lots of people throw it around and really don't know the effect that it has on the people that its said to. People always act like fuck or shit are the offensive four letter words. they're.not. Think about it. To fuck, that's eaaaasy, its simple in the action and in saying it. But l-ve, if you say it and don't mean it, its damn near abusive to the person you say it to. #sidenote. this is really real to me, like you might look at it as me just being jaded but honestly, I've been there and I've seen what it can do when its used undeservedly and not meant and its not pretty. So I choose not to use it to avoid all of that. Do I think that the "o" will ever come back? Yes, of course, but for now this is me. I like that.

growing up and into my young adult life, i always thought that the journey to self perfection was somewhat the journey of life. You figure out what your "problems" are, if you don't want them to be problems, you fix them, if you don't you relish in them because thats what make you YOU. i also thought that your problems shouldn't be visible to the world and everyone isn't in your business, shouldn't know your business, period {well, i still think that}. But I realized a lot last year that imperfections or chinks (sp) in the armor make others who even subconsciously know they aren't even in the same game as you, feel more connected to you. eventhough we all know that jealousy is a weak emotion, a lot of people still deal with it and just were brought up differently. -shrugs- because i wasnt concerned with being like the people that i was around and expecting to follow me at one point, i was me and fine with it. you do somewhere and sometimes need to have something or someone to relate to. being relatable as a leader is something that is paramount, apparently. your people have to like you but at the same time want to follow you because they know that whatever you're going to do, you're gonna win. you have to be able to seperate yourself as the leader or the boss but at the same time still be human to others and make people feel like you have a lot in common. its a delicate balance, man. but its something that if you can perfect it, you.win.

As time passes on,
Thoughts of whether or not authentic feelings of our love ever really existed circle throughout my existence.
From times of endless smiles to now times of unanswered questions as well as an awkward period of silence
What-ifs used to run through my consciousness
Unknowing of whether everything that I sought was in you or I so deeply yearned for and gave to you undeservingly
In hindsight, things are easily understood,
As to why we do the things that we do
Your fear and my unusual feelings stand out above all else as to where we went wrong
Or could it be something as simple as a lie, a desire of one to need the attention of another with no regard for their emotional stability standing?
But it is said that that the actions of times past prove all truths to be self evident
Then yours in my life should be seen as one whose verbal requests do not correspond.
Visions of largely burning lights glimmer from your subsistence
But deep inside you, great distress and clouded thoughts of self admiration rule underneath the smiles
